Marketing Team Experience
Jeff's Story
"My name is Jeffrey Ip and I am the digital marketing specialist at Taylor Vein Solutions (TVS). After starting my position at TVS as a digital marketing specialist, I’ve been responsible for a variety of tasks from Google, Facebook, website operations, and all things digital media. Working here has allowed me to not only gain experience, but also help the company expand and increase public awareness of venous conditions.
While managing the Google campaigns, I was responsible for ensuring that TVS had a great brand image as well as overseeing the content we shared to make it informative and helpful for anyone looking for information about venous reflux. By ensuring people were getting the right information, we were able to help many people prevent future complications and customize plans for each patient on their road to healthy veins. Over time, we have reached many people using Google and increased exposure to the importance of getting treated. We have successful spread awareness about venous reflux, spider veins, and varicose veins.
Facebook was a new initiate that I was responsible for where I was able to work on creating new campaigns to further spread awareness of venous reflux on a completely new platform. We were able to utilize Facebook as well as Instagram to connect with more people and this provided a convenient way for people to learn more about venous conditions. We strive to provide exceptional medical care, but also value patients’ understanding of the treatment process. We want to make sure the information we provide is correct and that we address misconceptions about venous conditions, and Facebook was a great way to do this. We were also able to reach a completely new group of people and are ecstatic to help more people become informed about venous reflux and treatment options.
Another big project that I was a part of was redesigning our website. The team and I wanted to create a more user friendly and accessible platform for our patients and anyone looking to learn more about venous conditions. We were able to effectively create a completely new website with a sleeker design and a more user-friendly interface in order to ensure anyone who visits the site can find what they’re looking for. This has greatly affected the number of visits we have received. We are continuously trying to improve the website experience while simultaneously helping our patients navigate our pages.
The team is given the flexibility to take any initiatives that might grow TVS and this is a perfect chance for anyone in the team to bring up their ideas in team meetings. This has led to many new projects from blogs posts, YouTube videos, Bing, Instagram content, and other ideas. For me, this was a way for me to spearhead projects I thought would be great. For example, the creation of testimonial videos, informational videos, and Google MyBusiness posts. Although not all projects turn out to have great results, they are all great learning experiences and some projects end up being a great avenue to bring in more awareness to the public. Overall, the freedom and support to work on our own ideas is a great thing and we’re continuously trying to find new avenues that will increase exposure to and understanding of venous conditions.
Over the course of one year, nothing but the best can be said about TVS. It has given me invaluable experiences not only on hard skills such as working on Google and Facebook, but also working in a great team environment that promotes creativity. There have been many milestones that the team has achieved and with the constant improvements being made every day. I am excited to see what another year holds.
Thanks TVS,
